What you agree to
when you use EZ Microphone.

Short, because there is not much to say: EZ Microphone turns your phone into a microphone for your own computer. You use it at your own risk, and you are responsible for what you do with it.

Effective 12 September 2026 · Applies to the EZ Microphone apps for iPhone and Android, the EZ Mic companion for Windows and macOS, and ezmicrophone.com

Provided as is

EZ Microphone is provided as is, without any warranty that it will work with a given game, application, computer, network, headset or speaker, or that it will work without interruption. Audio over a network depends on your network; audio over a cable depends on your cable and your computer. We fix what we can, and the support page says how to reach us, but we cannot promise a result on hardware we have never seen.

Games and anti-cheat

The companion never reads a game's memory, never injects anything and never draws over a game. Where it talks to a game, it uses the doors the game itself publishes for third-party tools. Even so, anti-cheat systems belong to their publishers and can change their rules at any time. You are responsible for checking that a game allows the tools you run next to it. We are not responsible for a suspension or a ban.

What you record and what you send

The app lets you record, and lets you put sounds, effects, spoken text and translations into your microphone. You are responsible for that content: for recording other people only where the law and they allow it, for what you say or type into a voice chat, and for the sounds you play. A translation is produced by an on-device engine and can be wrong; do not rely on it where a mistake matters.

Hearing and equipment

A microphone routed back to a speaker can produce feedback, suddenly and loudly. Start with the volume low, use headphones when you monitor yourself, and stop if you hear a whistle. We are not responsible for hearing damage or damage to equipment caused by feedback, high volumes or misconfiguration.

Your computer

On Windows the companion installs a virtual audio driver; on macOS an audio plug-in. Both are the standard mechanisms of their platform. Install them only from ezmicrophone.com or the official stores, and keep backups of anything you cannot afford to lose, as you would before installing any software.

Purchases

Pro is sold through the App Store and Google Play under their own terms. A subscription renews until you cancel it in your store account; a lifetime purchase is a one-time payment. Refunds are handled by the stores, under their rules. Prices are shown in the store before you buy.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss arising from the use of EZ Microphone is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, including for consumers in the European Union.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will appear here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after that date means you accept the new version.

Publisher

EZ Microphone is published from France by a sole proprietorship being registered. Its name and registration number will appear here as soon as it exists, and this page will carry a new effective date that day. Until then, the way to reach the publisher is contact@ezmicrophone.com, and a person reads every message. Hosting: OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France.
